Next Level Wrestling Club's Codes of Conduct

We ask that all NLWC families and friends observe these rules to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone.  Thank you for your consideration.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING, DRUGS, OR ALCOHOL PERMITTED IN ANY NLWC PRACTICE OR MATCH LOCATION.  Aside from the legalities, the failure of parents or participants to comply with this rule could result in the termination of the said participant(s), or parent(s) themselves will be asked to leave the program.

Parents are welcome to attend practice.  However parents are asked to refrain from coaching or shouting to wrestlers during practice.  Parents are responsible for siblings of wrestlers attending practice.  The siblings are not to leave the wrestling room or disrupt practice.

Wrestlers that are not listening, not participating, or disrupting practice will be sent home or asked to sit out the remainder of that practice until their parents come to pick them up.

Good sportsmanship is to be shown at all times.  The coaches will not tolerate temper tantrums, bad language, etc. by any wrestler of the club.  If a wrestler displays this kind of behavior, they may be reprimanded, suspended or terminated from the program.  Good sportsmanship is to be shown by NLWC fans at all events, and for all wrestlers.  All wrestlers, regardless of team or ability should be applauded for their efforts.

Proper equipment including headgear and wrestling shoes should be used at all matches.  Fingernails are to be kept short and clean.  No jewelry is allowed during wrestling, as this is for the protection of all wrestlers involved in the sport.  Any wrestler with a contagious illness, ringworm, etc, should not attend NLWC practices or events.

Parents are asked to remain in the stands or approved areas while their child is wrestling in a tournament.  This is for the safety of the wrestlers, to avoid congestion at mat side, and allow all attendees to watch the participants.  NLWC parents, wrestlers and fans are encouraged to sit together at tournaments, and cheer from approved areas. 

NLWC intends to have an unsurpassed level of excellence with regard to parents, students, coaches, and volunteers.  The success of the club depends on being an example, and encouraging our youth to always try and be their best.
